Who's behind this
A small team, not a big organization — yet
Enamatea is currently built by two people, self-funded. We're not a registered NGO yet — we plan to incorporate once we secure our first funding, and we're upfront about that stage we're at.
Since childhood, one question stuck with me: how do you get people to treat litter the way I do — pick it up and deal with it, even if they didn't leave it there, if they have the time and the strength? The idea for Enamatea came while discussing Pokémon Go with my wife: what if the monsters were tied to real environmental problems instead of being purely fictional? That's how Enamatea was born. We've been building it since February 2025.
